The combination of rising heating oil prices, shrinking supply and environmental concerns has created significant demand for bio heat, a home heating oil substitute manufactured in the U.S. from domestically produced organic feedstocks.

Santa Energy’s Bio Heat is standard, #2 heating oil blended with oil refined from virgin soybean oil. Blending the two products improves the cold flow properties of the bio fuel at very cold temperatures. We provide standard blend B-2 as well as any custom blend you may require.

No equipment modifications necessary.
Bio heat requires no modifications to your existing heating equipment, from residential equipment to the largest industrial boiler.

Bio heat keeps equipment cleaner.
A recent study sponsored by the National Renewable Energy Lab has unequivocally shown that Bio-oil blends up to 20% keep all fuel-wetted parts—including filters, strainers and nozzles—cleaner, helping to prevent premature failure and prolong equipment life.

Domestically produced.
The biologically derived oil in bio heat is derived from domestically produced sources such as virgin soybean oil. Every gallon of bio heat consumed reduces our dependence on imported oil and strengthens the U.S. economy.

Environmentally friendly.
Because bio heat has a lower sulfur content, it produces less soot, fewer particulates and lower levels of Nox than conventional heating oil. Using bio fuel has been shown to reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
