Stephen Santa

Stephen Santa graduated from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a degree in Marine Transport in 2008 and completed a Masters Degree in Transportation Management at SUNY Maritime College in 2015. He began working as manager of safety operations at Santa Energy in 2015 and has been instrumental in the implementation of many policies and procedures to keep the service technicians, oil and propane truck drivers, terminal workers and employees at the headquarters as safe and productive as possible. Stephen also works for a tug boat company in NYC sailing as a Chief Mate delivering fuel oil and gasoline into Bridgeport, Connecticut terminals. He is a member of the US Navy Reserve as a lieutenant for the Strategic Sealift Program and in his spare time volunteers in the Town of Redding as a firefighter and EMT where he has been an active member since 2003.

Erin Santa

Erin Santa Mercede is the oldest great-grandchild of the company’s founders. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Finance at the University of New Hampshire, she worked in the Operations department of Ellington Management Group in Old Greenwich. She moved to Santa Energy in 2013 while she was in the middle of earning her MBA from the University of Connecticut, which she completed later that year. She works in Inland Fuel Terminals, a Santa Energy division, where she is learning the wholesale business. Erin is currently on the board of directors for Leadership Greater Bridgeport, a Bridgeport Regional Business Council affiliate program, and Franklin Street Works, a non-profit contemporary art gallery in Stamford. When she is not involved in community activities, she enjoys running, skiing and traveling. Erin lives in Stamford with her husband.

Scott Santa

Scott Santa is the latest addition to the Fourth Generation at Santa Energy. Following in the steps of his older sister, Erin, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of New Hampshire in 2010. Since then he has worked in a variety of jobs including construction, recruiting, insurance, IT and sales. Since joining the company in May of 2016 he has been responsible for the residential sales department for heating oil, propane, and service. He is a part of class 28 of the Leadership of Greater Bridgeport and recently joined the Board of Directors of the Bridgeport YMCA, providing insight and direction to the countless services the organization offers to the local community. He moved back to his home town of Redding, CT, in 2012. Outside of work he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding and hanging out with his recently adopted black lab, Bart, who is often found roaming the Santa Energy office.
