Number 2 fuel oil is one of the most popular heating sources for businesses in the Northeast. Santa Buckley offers a secure supply of premium #2 heating oil for our commercial customers with businesses and institutions in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.

#4 OIL
Number 4 fuel oil is usually a blend of distillate and residual fuel oils, such as #2 and #6; however, sometimes it is just a heavy distillate. #4 may be classified as diesel, distillate or residual fuel oil.

#6 OIL
Number 6 fuel oil is a residual fuel oil or heavy fuel oil. It is what remains from refining crude oil after gasoline and distillate fuel oils are extracted through distillation.

Kerosene (sometimes spelled kerosine) and often referred to as #1 Diesel, is a combustible hydrocarbon liquid. It was originally used in lamps but is now more widely used to power engines (jet fuel) and for heating. Santa Buckley offers a secure supply of premium kerosene for businesses throughout New England.

Biodiesel refers to a vegetable oil or animal fat-based diesel fuel consisting of long-chain alkyl (methyl, propyl or ethyl) esters. Biodiesel is typically made from domestically produced soybean oil and helps offset the amount of petroleum consumed. Biodiesel can be used alone, or blended with petrodiesel. Biodiesel can be used as a heating fuel in commercial boilers. A mix of heating oil and biofuel is sometimes referred to as “bioheat” and can be used in existing furnaces without modification. Santa Buckley Energy helps businesses understand technological and regulatory changes and can supply premium wholesale bio products to commercial and institutional facilities throughout New England.

Gasoline is a petroleum-derived liquid mixture, which is primarily used as a fuel in internal combustion engines. Diesel fuel is generally any liquid fuel used in diesel engines. The most common is a specific fractional distillate of petroleum fuel oil. Santa Buckley offers a secure supply of premium gasoline and diesel products to businesses and fleet operators throughout New England.

We are also experts in diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and can supply it for all of your Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) diesel vehicles.

Dyed diesel is used primarily to identify fuels that are not taxed so that they cannot be used instead of the taxed versions of the fuel. The Internal Revenue Service mandates use of red dye for tax-exempt diesel fuels such as heating oil. The coloring is in sufficient concentration to allow detection even when diluted with “legal” fuel. Detection of red-dyed fuel in the fuel system of an on-road vehicle will incur substantial penalties. Also, the Environmental Protection Agency mandates use of a red dye to identify high-sulfur fuels for off-road use. Santa Buckley Energy can advise commercial customers on what fuels meets their needs while helping them remain compliant with regulatory requirements. Santa Buckley also is able to supply dyed diesel fuel for commercial properties.

Almost all marine fuels are based on fractions of petroleum products derived during more advanced refining processes. Marine gasoil (MGO) is a specific classification in the maritime field. It is roughly the equivalent of #2 fuel oil and made from distillate only. Marine diesel oil (MDO), unlike regular diesel, is a blend of gasoil and heavy fuel oil. Santa Buckley offers these and other marine fuels delivered to your storage facilities or direct to vessel fueling.

Winterized fuel has been blended with special additives that can make the fuel perform better in extreme temperatures as well as gain better efficiency and lower maintenance costs for your equipment. Winterized diesel is very important for vehicles operating in colder climates. The fuel is blended with an anti-gelling agent to prevent the fuel from gelling in diesel vehicles as temperatures drop below freezing. The winterized diesel helps keep vehicles operating in temperatures as low as -20 degrees F. Santa Buckley offers Premium Additized Fuels to help your business operate efficiently all year long.
